Junior usability engineer

Responsibilities:

• Participate in user testing or fieldwork.
• Develop user personas, scenarios of use, interaction models
• Work with Interaction Design and Communications team members to strategize subjects for articles and white papers
• Write clear, compelling, understandable articles and POVs on usability subjects for publication on our site and delivery to our clients.
• Edit and revise articles based on collaborative feedback from Communications and Interaction Design team members.

Requirements:

• Intimate knowledge of usability heuristics and relevant HCI literature
• A finger on the industry pulse of usability and interaction design developments and issues
• Strong writing, editing and visual communication skills
• Ability to apply the methodologies of interaction design to software development, and to contribute to development of designs that deliver power and pleasure to customers
• Proven ability to multi-task and work with a team
